Gifted with an uncanny ability to craft some of the most unique and emotive soundscapes one will hear, Malaga’s Marino Canal cut his teeth on the local underground scene for over a decade before seeing his international breakthrough.
With noticeable yet subtle influences from luminaries in the likes of Brian Eno, Philip Glass, John Cagere, and Steve Reich, Marino’s trademark sound has made a forceful impact on the scene. His productions are versatile, unpredictable and are described by fans and peers alike as organic, hypnotic, and melancholic.
His Beatport #1 ’Home’ on Siamese with Adriatique and Delhia De France recently surpassed 25 million streams on Spotify alone, and had the scene recognize him as one of the most gifted and promising producers of his generation.
Marino’s music is a permanent fixture in the sets of a who’s who of contemporary dance music superstars in the likes of Camelphat, Tale of Us, Jimi Jules, Solomun, Adriatique, Innellea, and Pete Tong, with the latter awarding ‘Home’ Essential New Tune honors on his revered BBC Radio 1 show.
His success off the back of original releases on Tale of Us' Afterlife, Mind Against's Habitat and remixes for artists such as Franky Wah on SHÈN has catapulted him into the upper echelon of the club and festival touring circuit. He’s played notable shows at across the globe for Afterlife and Adriatique’s X, as well as at Tomorrowland in Belgium, DGTL in Sao Paolo, Hï in Ibiza, Zamna in Malta, Extrema in Belgium, Brunch in Barcelona, and more.
